Reflective Blinds

Reflective blinds are not your regular blinds designed to give night privacy they are transparent, internal, day time sun control blind, made as roller blinds. However they have a big point of difference, they are specially designed to reflect the suns rays back through the glass, allowing people to enjoy the view without the heat or glare, they also protect furnishings from fading.

They are installed inside between your normal decorator blinds and the glass and are left down during the day when the sun is on the windows, but they can also be rolled up to admit more light.
The blinds are made from a specially laminated polyester film and aluminium. The polyester gives the film its colour, strength and pliability; while the aluminium, which is so thin you can see through it, provides the medium for reflecting the suns rays.

The sun gives off electromagnetic waves or energy travelling at 300,000 km per second, we see this as light or feel it as warmth regular glass is 90% transparent to them. If you place a mirror inside the window you can reflect the rays back out as fast as they came in and that is how a reflective blind works.

Reflective Blinds can be made for do it yourself installation or you can call 1800 624 947 to find you nearest local distributor. For further information visit www.reflectiveblinds.com.au
